After purchasing and returning 2 vacuums I was dissatisfied with, and doing a lot of research, I finally decided on a Shark Rotator powered lift-away True Pet! I have been pleased with my Shark Rocket deluxe-pro, but I wanted to step things up, and be sure my clients are receiving a spectacular clean, especially for those with carpets. I was also looking at a Samsung VU3000, however I like the lift-away feature of the Shark so I can get under furniture and the Samsung does not have lights on the vacuum to help spotlight dirt and hair. With the Shark, I received about every accessory I could ever need, including a motorized brush for stairs and upholstery, an under-appliance wand for vacuuming under stoves and other appliances, and even a canister caddy if I want to use the machine as a canister vacuum. Along with the lifetime warranty from Shark, it felt like the right choice.
THE VACUUMS I RETURNED WERE:
The bissell symphony all-in-one steam mop which vaccums and steams hard floors all at once. But before I opened the box, I read more reviews and decided it didn't sound like an efficient choice for my business.
So i returned it and started looking into cordless vacuums. I was getting excited about the idea of not having to hunt for outlets, change outlets, fight with a cord andso-on. I came across some Hoover cordless vacuums that come with 2 removable batteries, giving the vacuum an industry leading 50 minutes of cordless performance. So i purchased the
Hoover cordless Air Lift.
This thing....was a complete piece of junk. The fact that it was cordless was the ONLY nice feature about the vacuum. The connection from the hose to the canister is too narrow and it was constantly getting clogged which would, in turn, back up the hose as well. Aside from that, the suction power didn't seem much better, if any better, than the Shark Rocket I had been using. As convenient as it was to have the cordless, it didnt make sense to keep a machine that was constantly getting clogged. That made it a time-waster instead of a time-saver. So I shipped it back and bought the Shark Rotator. Stay tuned to hear about its performance!
